Paint Types Explained

Acrylic

Suitable general industrial manufactures and in particular for the direct painting of PVC, ABS and rigid polystyrene (PS).

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Easy application
  • Very good aspect
  • Very fast drying
  • Excellent direct adhesion on PVC and ABS
  • Direct adhesion on PS (no foam polystyrene) if diluted with specific thinner (00587 PS THINNER).
  • Adhesion also on methacrylate (plexiglass), only after preliminary tests.

Cellulose

For general industrial use including machines, metallic shelves, tools and general iron substrates.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Very fast drying
  • Good adhesion directly to steel (the product does not contain any anti-corrosive pigments, therefore it gives steel a protection due to barrier-effect)
  • Good gloss and appearance

Synthetic Enamel

For refinishing lorries’ boxes and chassis, agricultural and industrial machines and tools, and general iron substrates.

CHARACTERISTICS

  • Very fast drying
  • Easy to apply
  • Excellent gloss and flow
  • Good weather resistance
  • Good adhesion directly to steel (it does not contain any anticorrosive pigments; protection due to barriereffect).
